Services Available
- Athletic Training services are available to Recreation and Wellness Center participants at select Intramural Sports and Sport Club events.
- A Certified Athletic Trainer will be accessible most evenings for evaluation and treatment of sport related injuries.
- Contact an RWC Building Manager to arrange a meeting with a Certified Athletic Trainer.
- Role of a Certified Athletic Trainer: Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Recognition, Evaluation, Assessment of Injuries, Immediate Care, Treatment, Rehabilitation, and Reconditioning.

Return to Play Protocol:
If a Certified Athletic Trainer advises a RWC / IM / Sport Club participant to see a physician based on their injury, the participant will not be allowed to return to activity until they have provided written clearance from a physician.

Suspected Fracture Jewett Orthopedic Clinic
Laceration Student Health Center / ER (based on time of injury)
Concussion Student Health Center / ER (based on time of injury)
Head Neck Injury (911) Emergency Room

What to Bring: Insurance Card and valid Student ID
Remember: Be sure to obtain written clearance to return to activity if you are cleared by physician.
