FINALS NIGHT RESULTS

WOMEN COMP
All Fired Up entered the chamipionship game looking to legitimize their
name, and they did not dissappoint. The offense could not be stopped and the
long passes to Shayla Smith and the quick moves by D.D. Williams were just
too much for the Neon Sweatbands defense. All Fired Up used tactics throughout the contest by controlling the ball and time throughout the game, using their national experience to their benefit. Final Score 34-0 All Fired Up.

WOMEN REC
BallHers began the game strong, coming out and scoring immediately with a quarterback run by Cassidy Smith. ZTA, with their infmaous and potent offense continued to march down the field, dirve after drive, but could not out run the BallHers stifling defense Although ZTA was able to make it a 6 point game in the second half and intercept a forced pass, they were only able to march down to the 38 yard line before the BallHers were able to shut down the ZTA offense, winning 12-6.

CO-REC REC
On the game's first drive, Sp33d Kills marched down the field completing short passes that net long yardage, making the game of Co-Rec look effortless. It remained a game of defense for the entire first half and ends with a simple score of 9-0. But it was SmokeyWear who came out in the second half, determined to take home the Championship Title. Ramon Docobo engineers a drive to put SmokeyWear in the lead 20-19, but leaves 1:07 on the clock, giving Sp33d Kills the opportunity to take the win. With one second remaining on the game Sp33d Kills quarterback, David Weiland, threw up a jump ball to receiver Tommy Solomon, but it was batted away by defender Rafael Aquino to secure the win for SmokeyWear 20-19.

CO-REC COMP
Poles and Holes used the championship game as theircoronation as they raced out to an early score in the 1st quarter. They continued to pour on the scores as they continue to shell shock their opponent. The game appeared to be wrapped up, but America kept fighting as Brodie Perez made an execellent one handed interception and America put a touchdown on the board. Ultimately though Poles and Holes as too much and they won 45-10.

REC
Real Men’s of Genius and X-Factors started championship night off right with a last minute thriller. Both teams were evenly matched throughout the game with each team’s
defense only allowing one touchdown until the third quarter. Real Men ofGenius were able to put another touchdown on the board early in the 4th quarter, but the game was not over as X-Factor’s defense forced a punt with under a minute and a half left in the game. It seemed like a comeback was possible until Jason Evans of Real Men of Genius was able to accept an errant pass and put the game away.

COMP B
The Comp B championships were evenly matched as Run N’ Gun and Strippers Love Us traded first half touchdowns. Run N’ Gun’s defense became a brick wall in the 2nd half as they didn’t allow Strippers Love Us into the endzone again and racking up two second half interceptions. However Run N’ Gun’s offense was able to get two scores to put the game away for the Comp B championship.

COMP A
The Comp A championship promised to be a thriller as the two titans, M.I.S.T. and AEP, took the field and the sidelines were lined with fans as the game kicked off. The first quarter was highlighted by magnificent defensive plays by both sides as the score remained 0-0. AEP was first on the board with a 2nd quarter touchdown that put AEP fans into a frenzy. M.I.S.T., with the calmness of national champions, respond with a 3rd quarter score that put them up 7-6. The remainder of the 3rd quarter remains a stalemate as neither team is able to score. It isn’t until the 4th quarter that M.I.S.T. is able to punch through another touchdown and is able to get the extra point to make the score 14-6. However, AEP responded like any great challenger would and began marching down the field for
a touchdown to make the score 14-12. It was in the next move that AEP proved they were there to win when they decided to go for the 3 point conversion. AEP was unable to convert and put M.I.S.T. into the position to milk the rest of the clock, taking the championship 14-12.
